Are Pompey looking up the Championship table? Will the south-coast derby loss to Southampton be a seminal moment in their season? John Mousinho thinks the answers to those questions are about to become clearer.
Portsmouth manager John Mousinho stated that his team's upcoming four Championship matches will shape their entire season. Pompey face Millwall, Burnley, Swansea City, and Stoke City before the November international break, with three of those fixtures taking place at Fratton Park.
Mousinho noted that a 1-0 defeat to Southampton sparked a strong response, earning seven points from nine against Sheffield United, Norwich City, and Wolves. Sitting two points outside the play-offs, Mousinho believes this upcoming fixture block will define their ambitions.
