Defenseman puts up career-high four points with goal, three assists in 6-2 win over Vegas, taking advantage of opportunity given to 2020 first-round pick after being waived by Predators in late September…

Defenseman Justin Barron recorded a career-high four points with a goal and three assists to help the St. Louis Blues secure a 6-2 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. Claimed off waivers from the Nashville Predators in late September, the 24-year-old has established himself quickly on the Blues' blue line amid team injuries, tallying five points across seven games while skating on the top pairing with Philip Broberg.
Following Barron's emergence, the Blues assigned 21-year-old defenseman Theo Lindstein to Springfield of the American Hockey League after the game. Head coach Jim Montgomery praised Barron's simple and effective play in all three zones, noting how well his skating and offensive instincts suit the team's aggressive system.
