The Brewers and Rays have plenty in common. Even their road hotels — the Pfister in Milwaukee and the Vinoy in St. Petersburg — are haunted.

Both teams in the 122nd World Series face paranormal reputations on the road, with each staying at famously haunted historic hotels. The Tampa Bay Rays checked into The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, known for decades of ghostly lore among visiting Major League Baseball players. When the series moves to Florida, the Milwaukee Brewers will stay at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg.
Players and club executives across baseball have reported strange occurrences at both properties, ranging from flickering lights to spontaneous television activity. While some staff attribute incidents to technical explanations like radio-frequency remotes, multiple players across the league actively avoid staying at The Pfister.
