Kiradech Aphibarnrat vowed to come back stronger as he'll head to Q School after his withdrawal at the Genesis Championship cost him his last chance to keep his DP World Tour card this year…

Kiradech Aphibarnrat has lost his DP World Tour card for 2027 after withdrawing during the second round of the Genesis Championship in Korea. The 37-year-old Thai golfer shot an opening round 75 at Woo Jeong Hills and was five over par through nine holes on Friday before calling it quits. Despite the heartbreak, Aphibarnrat vowed to bounce back and confirmed he will head to Qualifying School in Spain next month.
Aphibarnrat cited severe physical and mental exhaustion after competing for 11 consecutive weeks in an attempt to retain his tour card. The four-time DP World Tour winner previously regained his playing privileges through Q School in both 2022 and 2023, and he plans to rest and prepare to repeat that success.
