The Bucks' new wing looked really good following promotion to the starting five.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. made a strong debut for the Milwaukee Bucks, scoring 22 points in a season-opening loss to the Washington Wizards. Despite Milwaukee falling after a fourth-quarter 21-4 run by Washington, Jaquez justified his promotion to head coach Taylor Jenkins' starting lineup by shooting 8-of-12 from the field and grabbing a team-high seven rebounds.
Behind the Buck Pass argues that Jaquez solidified his place at small forward over Kyle Kuzma, who struggled with five points. Following the trade involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, fellow former Miami Heat players Tyler Herro and Kel'el Ware also featured, with Herro leading Milwaukee with 24 points.
