Former Newcastle United forward Garang Kuol is rebuilding his career on loan at Czech club Jablonec after his Premier League dream ended without a competitive first-team appearance. The 22-year-old Australian international joined Sparta Prague permanently last summer for an undisclosed fee and recently featured off the bench against Brighton in the Conference League.

Newcastle originally signed Kuol for £300,000 in 2022 under then-manager Eddie Howe and sporting director Dan Ashworth before loaning him to Hearts and Volendam.
