Gossip: Barcelona considering making offer to Lisandro Martinez

Barcelona are reportedly considering making an offer to Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez ahead of the summer transfer window. According to a report from El Desmarque, the Catalan club is closely monitoring the Argentine defender's contract situation. Martinez is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, which would allow him to negotiate with clubs outside England beginning in January.

The potential move could see Martinez arrive on a free transfer, though Manchester United hold an option to extend his contract by an additional year. Martinez recently criticized United's hierarchy following a Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, leaving uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford. Barcelona could reportedly submit a formal proposal before the end of the year.
