The St. Louis Blues have assigned defenseman Theo Lindstein to the AHL. The 21-year-old played four games to start the NHL season before being scratched for the following six games.

The St. Louis Blues assigned 21-year-old defenseman Theo Lindstein to their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. Lindstein made the Blues' opening-night roster and played in the first four games of the season, registering one assist while averaging 14:33 of ice time per game.
Lindstein was replaced in the lineup by Justin Barron and served as a healthy scratch for six consecutive games prior to the demotion. With forwards Alexey Toropchenko and Ross Johnston nearing returns from injury, St. Louis also recently placed forward Zach Dean on waivers to manage roster spots.
