Tottenham Hotspur have officially recalled 21-year-old goalkeeper Luca Gunter from his loan spell at National League side Boreham Wood. Gunter made 12 appearances for the club across August and September, keeping two clean sheets, but recently lost his starting role to Chelsea loanee Ted Curd, who started Boreham Wood's last five matches.
Spurs have not confirmed their next plans for Gunter, though he could play for the under-21s ahead of a potential January loan move. Gunter faces tough competition at Tottenham, where Antonin Kinsky serves as manager Roberto De Zerbi's first-choice keeper alongside backups Martin Dubravka and Brandon Austin.
