Aston Villa loanee Andres Garcia has found himself in the middle of a public feud at Getafe between manager Jose Bordalas and club president Angel Torres. The dispute erupted following Getafe's 5-2 defeat to Swiss side Lugano in the UEFA Conference League, a fixture in which Garcia played the full 90 minutes on the right wing.
Bordalas publicly criticised the club's hierarchy, claiming he was deceived regarding squad depth and stating the team is not equipped to compete across multiple competitions. In response, Torres dismissed the manager's complaints, suggested Bordalas is free to leave if unhappy, and urged players like Garcia to prove their coach wrong on the pitch.
