Celtic have signed 17-year-old Irish defender Shea McGarry to his first professional contract, securing his future until June 2029. McGarry completed a permanent move to Glasgow from Belfast-based club Cliftonville, where he previously featured three times for the senior team as an amateur.
Following his arrival, McGarry has already played five times for the Celtic B team. His signing follows another recent long-term commitment by the Scottish champions, who recently signed 18-year-old Corey Shaw to a contract running through 2031.
