Liverpool have reportedly confirmed the timeline for one star to return to the club. That's the result of talks this week.
Liverpool have agreed on a timeline for Ifeanyi Ndukwe's return to the club following discussions with Levante. While the club explored the possibility of a January recall, reporter Nacho Sanchis confirmed that Ndukwe will not return mid-season. Instead, the Austrian will remain on loan in Spain with Levante for the rest of the campaign before returning to Anfield in the summer.
The decision comes amid Liverpool's impending centre-back shortage, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez out of contract and Ronald Araujo on loan. Writer Alex Caple argues that keeping Ndukwe at Levante to gain valuable La Liga experience is the correct plan before he potentially steps into the first team.
