Jadon Sancho offered new contract on huge wage cut after Man United exit

Spanish side Getafe has reportedly offered free agent Jadon Sancho a contract until the end of the season worth around £10,000 per week. The 26-year-old winger was released by Manchester United in the summer after previous loan spells with Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa failed to secure him a permanent move. Sancho is reportedly considering the deal but wants to meet with Getafe head coach Jose Bordalas before making a final decision.

The proposed deal represents a massive reduction from the £250,000-per-week wages Sancho reportedly earned at Old Trafford. Getafe currently sits 15th in La Liga, with manager Jose Bordalas facing internal tension after publicly criticizing the club hierarchy regarding squad depth and broken promises, prompting a sharp response from club president Angel Torres.
