The Miami Heat have secured a television agreement providing free over-the-air broadcasts to six Southwest Florida counties. Starting with the matchup against the Detroit Pistons on October 23, games will air on digital subchannel WINK 11.3 and Xfinity channel 207 across Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and DeSoto counties.
Covering the Fort Myers and Naples areas, the deal provides an alternative to traditional cable packages for the full season. This expansion follows a regional deal with My15 WTCN for West Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast alongside WPLG.
