Caleb Douglas is cleared to face the Jets. Bobby Slowik explains why his connection with Malik Willis matters for the Dolphins' passing game.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Caleb Douglas and running back Jaylen Wright have been cleared to play in Week 7 against the New York Jets. Head coach Jeff Hafley confirmed Friday that Douglas will make his return from an ankle injury after participating in team drills throughout the week. Both offensive players carry no game-status designations into Sunday's contest coming off Miami's bye week.
Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik highlighted the significance of Douglas returning, pointing to the rookie's established rapport with quarterback Malik Willis. Willis was also cleared to play without a designation despite managing a thumb injury earlier in the week. Slowik noted Douglas' size and ability to defeat man coverage as key assets to boost Miami's struggling passing attack.
