The Minnesota Vikings made a roster move at running back Friday afternoon, two days before hosting the Indianapolis Colts.

The Minnesota Vikings released running back DeeJay Dallas from their 53-man active roster on Friday ahead of their matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The roster move is viewed as preparation for the expected activation of running back Jordan Mason from injured reserve.
Dallas played in five games for Minnesota this season, totaling 10 rushing yards on three carries and 34 receiving yards on four catches. Mason has practiced fully all week after being sidelined since Week 1, with head coach Kevin O'Connell noting he is officially questionable.
