Real Madrid representatives and players will reportedly attend the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony in London, ending the club's two-year boycott of the event. According to L'Equipe, the Spanish giants are set to return to the gala on Monday with club officials and several nominated players expected to be in attendance.
Los Blancos began boycotting the ceremony in 2024 after Rodri won the award over Vinicius Junior. Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Marc Cucurella are nominated for the award, with Mbappe considered among the frontrunners alongside Harry Kane and Lamine Yamal.
