Hornets fans optimistic ahead of home opener with new-look team

Charlotte Hornets supporters expressed strong optimism ahead of the team's home opener against the Atlanta Hawks at Spectrum Center. Following an opening road win against the Brooklyn Nets, fans gathered to welcome a revamped roster and celebrate their return to the arena, expressing hope for a direct playoff berth after reaching the Play-in Tournament last season.

The team debuted a reshaped squad following the departure of LaMelo Ball, having added veterans Naz Reid, Dennis Schroder, and Grayson Allen alongside re-signing Brandon Miller. Charlotte entered Friday's matchup preparing for a three-game homestand that also features upcoming contests against the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards.
