ESPN analyst Michael Wilbon stated that the Cleveland Cavaliers are at the top of his list of untrustworthy Eastern Conference teams following their collapse against the Philadelphia 76ers. Cleveland blew a 29-point second-quarter lead to fall 114-106 in their second game of the season. Wilbon argued that despite their offseason moves, the Cavaliers appeared unready for postseason battles.
Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers' comeback with 32 points, supported by Joel Embiid's 24 points and LeBron James's double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell scored 32 points with 10 rebounds, while James Harden contributed 16 points and had a fourth-quarter altercation with Maxey.
