Ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett speaks out amid reports Manchester United vs Bournemouth may not go ahead…

Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has detailed the protocol for potential Premier League postponements, including Manchester United's Sunday match against Bournemouth. Severe weather caused by Storm Boelo has prompted a 33-hour yellow wind warning across northern England and Scotland, threatening several weekend fixtures with gusts reaching up to 80 mph.
Hackett explained to Football Insider that referees, clubs, and police will coordinate closely to assess conditions and avoid late cancellations. Amid the disruption, under-pressure United manager Michael Carrick remains slated to take charge if the match goes ahead, following a run of just two wins from 11 games.
