Latest mock draft has Browns putting Rams’ first-round pick to great use

A new mock draft from NFL Spin Zone projects the Cleveland Browns to use their two top-20 first-round picks on Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and Alabama defensive lineman Devan Thompkins. In the projection, Chambliss is selected at No. 13 overall, while Thompkins is picked at No. 17 using the first-round pick Cleveland acquired from the Los Angeles Rams.

Dawg Pound Daily writer Ernesto Cova notes that Thompkins offers valuable positional versatility across the defensive line under defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg. Cova adds that while Chambliss has high athleticism and arm strength fitting head coach Todd Monken's offense, concerns linger regarding his age and shorter stature.
