This has made things as clear as day.
Zak Anderton writes that Liverpool's plans for Harvey Elliott are becoming clearer during his loan spell at Valencia. After a difficult start in Spain following a challenging loan stint at Aston Villa, the 23-year-old midfielder has impressed Valencia manager Javier Aguirre with his progress. According to Spanish journalist Nacho Sanchis, both Liverpool and Valencia have urged Elliott to increase his work rate and display pragmatic play.
Anderton suggests that the demands placed on Elliott are intended to prepare him for Andoni Iraola's high-running system at Liverpool. The writer notes that strong form in La Liga could offer Elliott a route back into the Premier League club's plans, particularly if attacking reinforcements are needed.
