In Chicago Bears news, Cole Kmet is officially out for the season with a knee injury, and Ben Johnson has no regrets about the trick play in the Week 7 win.

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson announced that tight end Cole Kmet will miss the remainder of the 2026 season due to a non-contact knee injury suffered during Thursday's 30-24 win over the New England Patriots. Following the news, rookie third-round pick Sam Roush is set to take on the backup role behind Colston Loveland.
Johnson expressed confidence in Roush and stated he had no regrets about a failed trick play involving guard Joe Thuney. The Bears also welcomed back defensive end Montez Sweat after the NFL lifted his two-game PED suspension.
