Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins revealed he lost over 40 pounds during the offseason to help extend his NFL playing career after turning 32 in April. Dawkins, a multi-time Pro Bowler, undertook the drastic weight cut independently without directives from the team, successfully lowering his playing weight to idle consistently within the 330 to 340-pound range.
To achieve the transformation, Dawkins utilized an intense routine that included boxing, walking five miles daily in a sauna suit, and consuming over two gallons of lemon water. He also limited his food intake to one lean meal per day, consulting with the Buffalo Bills' strength staff to maintain proper protein and nutrition levels.
