Martin O'Neill has been speaking about the Celtic defensive duo who could return to action against Hibs this weekend.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed that defenders Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston are nearing returns from injury ahead of Sunday's match against Hibs. Both players trained earlier in the week and will be assessed before the fixture. Carter-Vickers has been dealing with a muscular strain suffered during the international break, while Johnston has been sidelined since August with a significant hamstring injury.
The Celtic Bhoys argues that Celtic should not risk starting either defender against bottom-placed Hibs, urging caution with key players ahead of bigger fixtures. Additionally, O'Neill confirmed forward Callum Osmand suffered only cramp against Celta Vigo, while defender Auston Trusty is expected to remain out following the death of his father.
