The Reds are looking likely to make a lot of signings in the winter window.
Liverpool are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Chelsea's 23-year-old right-back Malo Gusto ahead of the January transfer window. Sporting director Julian Ward is monitoring the Frenchman's situation following an unsuccessful deadline day bid during the previous summer window. Flashscore reports that Chelsea are exploring the market for long-term right-back prospects as Gusto faces competition from Reece James and Marco Palestra.
Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Tottenham are also monitoring Gusto's availability. Chelsea previously valued the defender at around €80 million (£75 million), which proved a major obstacle. Writer Zak Anderton argues that Liverpool should pursue a permanent deal if Chelsea reduce their asking price, particularly given Gusto's versatility at both right-back and defensive midfield.
