Lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan Bob Koehler has walked to every home game since moving to the Story Hill neighborhood in 1986. Ahead of Game 1 of the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, Koehler continued his longstanding tradition on a 12-minute walk alongside MLB Network's Robert Flores. A season ticket holder since late 1982, he sits next to the Brewers' dugout.
Koehler follows a strict routine, departing his home at 6:25 p.m. for 7:00 p.m. games, carrying his own soda, and using printed tickets. Despite suffering a badly broken leg in December, he managed to attend Opening Day with a cane. Koehler expressed excitement about the Brewers competing for a championship, noting he has already renewed his season tickets for 2027.
