Minnesota Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez is progressing well in his recovery from a February elbow procedure and is targeting a return during Spring Training. After resuming throwing in August, the pitcher's current timeline could make starting the 2027 season on the Opening Day roster a possibility.
Lopez underwent an internal brace procedure rather than full Tommy John surgery, which offers a shorter 12-month rehabilitation schedule. His return is expected to boost a Twins pitching rotation that finished 22nd in ERA during the 2026 campaign.
