The Denver Broncos have officially activated rookie running back Jonah Coleman and outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper ahead of their Week 7 matchup against Arizona. Coleman returns after missing time on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain, while Cooper was activated following his removal from the commissioner's exempt list. Cooper, who missed six weeks, has posted at least eight sacks in each of his previous three seasons.
To balance the roster moves, Denver placed running back Tyler Badie and edge rusher Jonah Elliss on injured reserve, sidelining both for at least four games. Badie suffered a broken thumb, while Elliss sustained a leg injury. Additionally, the Broncos elevated safety Taylor Rapp and defensive back Sean Fresch Jr. for gameday.
