Tottenham are not worried about Mateus Fernandes’ performances so far and will continue to back the midfielder amid his early struggles…

Tottenham Hotspur are remaining patient with midfielder Mateus Fernandes despite early struggles following his £85 million summer move, according to Football Insider. Manager Roberto De Zerbi has rotated the Portuguese midfielder frequently, with Fernandes starting only three of Spurs' opening seven Premier League fixtures and none of the last three.
Despite fan concerns over his form, the club views the former Southampton and West Ham player as a long-term investment. De Zerbi publicly backed Fernandes, describing him as a great player who simply requires time to fully adapt to Tottenham's system and expectations.
