Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell tends to lean toward optimism. Nevertheless, the update he provided earlier this week arrives as…

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell announced that key offensive players are returning to practice ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw, tight end T.J. Hockenson, and wide receiver Jordan Addison are all scheduled to participate in practice following the team's bye week. Running back Jordan Mason has also had his practice window opened and is expected to play.
The unbeaten 5-0 Vikings are looking to boost an offense that ranks 22nd in the NFL with 21.8 points per game. While long-term injuries keep guard Donovan Jackson and tight end Josh Oliver sidelined, writer K. Joudry expects Darrisaw, Hockenson, Addison, and Mason to be active for Sunday's game.
