Former 2022 ninth overall pick Jeremy Sochan was selected No. 1 overall in the 2026 G League Draft by the Texas Legends, the affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. The 23-year-old forward spent time with the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks last season before being waived by the Portland Trail Blazers on October 17. Sochan will now attempt to work his way back to the NBA through the G League.
In other roster moves, the Oklahoma City Thunder waived rookie guard Otega Oweh after he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the preseason. To fill the open two-way roster spot, the Thunder signed 25-year-old wing Micah Peavy, who was recently waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.
