The Sens are back in the win column!
Drake Batherson scored a hat trick as the Ottawa Senators defeated the New York Rangers 7-4 on October 24, 2026. Ottawa built early leads behind Batherson's first two goals and tallies from Tim Stützle and Dylan Cozens, holding off a late New York surge to secure the regulation victory.
Jake Sanderson recorded a goal and two assists, while Michael Amadio added an empty-net goal before Batherson sealed his hat trick with an empty-netter in the dying seconds. Goaltender Jonas Johansson earned the win for the Senators in his first start with the team.
