The Mets have an influx of prospect talent after this year's deadline. Who could have an immediate impact?

Following a difficult 2026 season, the New York Mets acquired several notable prospects at the trade deadline who could make an impact in the majors in 2027. Rising Apple highlights five players to monitor, led by top infield acquisition Jefferson Rojas, who arrived from the Cubs in the deal involving Clay Holmes and Tyrone Taylor. Despite crowded veteran infield options, Rojas could potentially push for playing time next season.
The other highlighted prospects include relief pitcher Zach Franklin and starter Gabe Davis, both acquired from the White Sox for Huascar Brazoban. Infielder Emilien Pitre, acquired from Tampa Bay for Freddy Peralta, and power-hitting corner infielder Billy Amick, acquired from the Twins for A.J. Minter, also represent potential contributors depending on roster needs and injuries.
