Nottingham Forest were at the centre of more controversy involving VAR in their 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town on Friday night. Neco Williams fired Forest…

Former FIFA referee Keith Hackett stated that referee Thomas Bramall made a clear and obvious error by failing to send off Issa Diop during Nottingham Forest's 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town. Diop received only a yellow card after stopping James McAtee, which Hackett argued was a denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity that warranted a red card despite a VAR check.
In the match, Neco Williams opened the scoring for Forest following an assist from Daniel Munoz, before Julio Enciso equalized for Ipswich before halftime. Hackett told Football Insider that Bramall was wrong to ignore VAR and maintain his initial on-field ruling.
