Denver Broncos give injury update on CB Pat Surtain for Cardinals game.

Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II is unlikely to play in Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals due to an ongoing ankle injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Surtain suffered the injury during a Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers and has missed the team's last two games, though he is expected to potentially return next week.
Despite Surtain's absence, Denver holds a 6-0 record over the past three seasons in games without the All-Pro defensive back. The Broncos' defense will also see the return of edge rusher Jonathon Cooper, who was reinstated after missing the first six games of the season on the commissioner's exempt list.
