Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack has been identified as the top trade deadline target for the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to analyst John Shipley of Jaguars OnSI. The Jaguars are expected to act as buyers to boost an edge-rushing unit that has relied heavily on blitzing to generate consistent pressure.
Parker Hurley notes that Mack, who is on a one-year, $18 million contract, could potentially be acquired for a Day 3 draft pick from the winless Chargers. Adding the former Defensive Player of the Year would provide rotational depth and an upgrade alongside starters Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen.
