Kai Fotheringham was given his marching orders after VAR deemed his tackle on Nico Raskin worthy of a sending off…

Pundits James McFadden and Steven Thompson criticized the decision to send off St Johnstone's Kai Fotheringham during their match against Rangers. Fotheringham received a straight red card for a challenge on Nico Raskin following a VAR review advised by Andrew Dallas, which referee Chris Graham reviewed at the pitchside monitor.
McFadden and Thompson argued on BBC Sportscene that the tackle lacked malice or excessive force, despite looking poor on still images. St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari voiced no complaints about the decision, while Rangers secured the win with goals from Kevin Kelsy, Ryan Naderi, and Tochi Chukwuani.
