A Cowboy until last week, the Eagles' quarterback is already meeting his former team in an NFC East showdown.

Quarterback Joe Milton III has joined the Philadelphia Eagles after being signed from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad last week. The move places Milton on the opposite side of the 66-year-old NFC East rivalry just in time for an upcoming Monday Night Football matchup against his former team at Lincoln Financial Field.
Originally selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Patriots, Milton spent the 2025 season as Dak Prescott's backup in Dallas before moving to their practice squad. Milton credited Eagles Quarterbacks Coach Parks Frazier with helping him quickly adapt to Philadelphia's offense midseason.
