Juventus have confirmed that Nico Gonzalez and Zeki Celik suffered muscular injuries during Thursday's 2-2 Europa League draw against Rennes. Celik sustained a low-grade strain to his left hamstring after scoring the opening goal in the fifth minute. Meanwhile, Gonzalez suffered a strain to the soleus muscle in his right leg, and both players have commenced their rehabilitation programs.
The injuries add to growing squad selection issues for head coach Luciano Spalletti ahead of their upcoming Serie A match against Lecce. Juventus are already managing the absences of Kenan Yildiz, Khephren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, Francisco Conceicao, Jeff Ekhator, and Kamil Grabara.
