Borussia Mönchengladbach ended a six-game losing streak with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Stuttgart.

Borussia Mönchengladbach ended their six-game losing streak to start the Bundesliga season with a 3-2 comeback victory over Stuttgart away from home. Ermedin Demirović initially opened the scoring for Stuttgart within the first five minutes off a pass from Dženan Pejčinović. Joe Scally equalized for Gladbach with a backheel finish before half-time, steering the visitors toward their first points of the campaign.
Gladbach seized control in the second half through goals from Shuto Machino and 17-year-old midfielder Wael Mohya. Despite Demirović scoring his second goal of the night in the 83rd minute to cut the deficit, goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas made crucial late saves to secure the win for manager Alexander Blessin's side.
