VfB Stuttgart suffered back-to-back defeats as they lost at home to cellar-dwellers Borussia Mönchengladbach.

VfB Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeneß and striker Ermedin Demirović conceded their team deserved to lose following a 3-2 home defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The result handed Stuttgart back-to-back losses, while Gladbach successfully ended their losing run on matchday 7.
Demirović scored both goals for Stuttgart, marking his first Bundesliga goals since matchday 2 and taking his league tally to 30 since joining from Augsburg in 2024. Hoeneß noted that mistakes crept into Stuttgart's play after a strong start, prompting boos from the home supporters.
