Inter coach Cristian Chivu praised his squad's resilience, stating that alleged injustices made the team stronger during their 2-1 comeback victory over Fiorentina at San Siro. After Alex Jimenez gave Fiorentina the lead from a long-range strike, Marcus Thuram equalized in the 90th minute. Thuram subsequently won a stoppage-time penalty, which Piotr Zielinski converted to secure all three points for the Nerazzurri.
Speaking to DAZN, Chivu highlighted his players' discipline and response to adversity, specifically noting a controversial incident where an apparent penalty call was waived off before the late turnaround. The victory pushed Inter level with Lazio at the top of the Serie A standings, having registered 33 shots and securing 13 points from losing positions this season.
