Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka has been officially ruled out of Sunday's Week 7 divisional game against the Carolina Panthers. Egbuka did not clear concussion protocol in time after suffering a head injury following Week 6, leaving Tampa Bay without one of its key offensive targets for the NFC South showdown.
While the Buccaneers will welcome back starting quarterback Baker Mayfield from a thumb injury, their receiving corps will rely on Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst III, and David Sills V. The Panthers are dealing with their own personnel shortages, listing pass rusher Jaelan Phillips among inactive players alongside sidelined cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson.
