Preview: The Avs Travel to Nashville to Face the Predators Tonight

The Colorado Avalanche (6-4-1) visit the Nashville Predators (3-3-4) on Sunday night at Bridgestone Arena. Colorado enters the matchup following a 6-3 home victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, led by Nathan MacKinnon's four-point performance. Meanwhile, Nashville has struggled out of the gate, losing five of its last six contests, including an overtime defeat against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

The matchup features multiple connections following an active offseason orchestrated by former Avalanche executive Chris MacFarland, who took over as Nashville's general manager in June. Forward Ross Colton and Jack Drury now feature for the Predators after offseason trades with Colorado, while former Avalanche netminder Justus Annunen is expected to start in goal for Nashville.
