Cadillac have hinted that their drivers for the 2027 season are not quite decided yet as rivals seek to grab an F1 seat.

Cadillac team principal Marcin Budkowski has declined to confirm the team's 2027 driver lineup featuring Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas amid contact from rival drivers. While both drivers were initially believed to have signed multi-year deals for Cadillac's debut 2026 campaign, Budkowski noted that several drivers on the market have reached out regarding potential seats.
Speculation has linked departing Haas driver Esteban Ocon to the team due to his past relationship with Budkowski at Renault. Despite the uncertainty, Budkowski praised Perez for his relentless motivation, aggressive driving, and valuable feedback as the American squad seeks its first Formula 1 point.
