Portsmouth have mounted an impressive run of form under manager John Mousinho, collecting 10 points from a possible 12 since their defeat at Southampton to rise to 11th in the league table.
Mousinho's side sits just two points outside the top eight as simulations assess their final positioning. At the bottom end of the projected table, Opta forecasts Preston North End to finish 24th with 40 points, Watford 23rd with 47 points, and Derby County 22nd with 48 points.
