Tottenham Hotspur have found yet another diamond in the rough.

Football FanCast's Ethan Lamb argues that Tottenham Hotspur have found their successor to Mousa Dembele in £85m midfielder Mateus Fernandes. Following Tottenham's 2-0 victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, manager Roberto De Zerbi praised the 22-year-old Portuguese midfielder, describing him as one of the best players on the pitch.
Deploying Fernandes at the base of the midfield, Lamb highlights that the midfielder recorded 124 touches, 14 defensive contributions, and completed 92% of his passes. The writer believes Fernandes's rare ability to dominate both in and out of possession makes him the ideal long-term heir to Dembele.
