Liverpool romped to 2-0 win over Brighton but their Premier League rivals weren't as successful on Sunday afternoon…

Liverpool supporters at Anfield celebrated after the stadium announcer revealed that Manchester United suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth. The announcement followed Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Brighton, moving the club two points clear at the top of the Premier League table above Chelsea.
A Pascal Gross own goal and an Alexander Isak finish secured the win for Liverpool. Manager Andoni Iraola also confirmed that Florian Wirtz, who left the pitch in the 65th minute, suffered a minor ankle twist that does not initially appear to be a major injury.
