The latest injury news and possible return dates for New York Knicks players…

New York Knicks backup point guard Jose Alvarado has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Orlando Magic due to a left ankle sprain. Head coach Mike Brown confirmed Alvarado's status during his pregame press conference. Alvarado was the only Knicks player listed on the team's injury report ahead of the contest.
In his previous outing, Alvarado played 11 minutes during a 107-103 loss to the Boston Celtics, recording two points, two rebounds, two assists, and three turnovers. The Knicks are seeking their first victory of the season following consecutive opening losses to the Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.
